Programme:

 


9.30 to 9.45am Welcome.
9.45am to 10.15am Worship. Including testimony by Anne Lawson.
10.15am to 10.30am Introductions. By Rev. Dr. Steve Skuce.
10.30am to 11.30am First session. Including Keynote address by Anne Lawson, with response by Rev. Dr. Steve Skuce followed by plenary and discussion.
11.30am to 11.50am Break.
11.50 noon to 1.15pm Second session. The practice of vulnerable mission, led by Dr. Jim Harries.
1.15pm to 2.30pm Lunch.
2.30pm to 4.00pm. Third Session. The debate of vulnerable mission point-counter-point led by Steve Skuce.
4.00pm to 4.15pm Break.
4.15pm to 5.00pm. Concluding Discussions. How can we build VM in both thought and action in our networks and ministries, chaired by Dr. Richard Briggs.
5.00pm Departure.

 

Anne Lawson has been a missionary working in Tanzania, first with MAF and then with the Church of God, for over 10 years.

Rev. Dr. Skuce has missionary experience in Sri Lanka and lectures in Missions at Cliff College. He is a board member for the Alliance for Vulnerable Mission.

Rev. Dr. Richard Briggs lectures at St. John’s college, Durham and is a former missionary to Western Europe.

Dr. Jim Harries is board chairman for the Alliance for Vulnerable Mission. He serves as a missionary in Western Kenya, engaged primarily in theological education focusing on indigenous churches using African languages, from 1988 to date.
